Reports from Karma banned/banned players should be ignored

When mods are off we get killed by RDMers , we usually just kill them back next round, and it's just a shitshow lmao, anyways reports from RDMers that the server kicks automaticaly should be ignored, just an idea

 

So what your saying is that the reports of anybody rdming the rdmers should be ignored?

 

Ah sorta, more just that people who have been auto kicked from the server for low karma should have their reports deleted. Last couple matches we had RDMers report random players and leave lol

 

Revenge RDM is still RDM and you will be punished accordingly

 

This sounds like a good way to make SGM a more toxic place than before. Don't kill anyone for what they did a previous round and rather call staff so it can be dealt with properly. Remember revenge rdm means you go down to their level and makes you no better than the ones you are getting annoyed by.

 

exactly. Letting them rdm will just let them get karma ban faster . Just try to go to shoutbox and ask for a mod to whatever server your on. They usually come within 5-10 mins.

If it is unjust then you didn't rdm them so what's the problem?

 

Players that get karma banned for RDMing may need a longer punishment if the leftover reports are found valid. We don't need that.

 

I belive that there may have been some miscommunication here. I belive what @Tactless Hog is trying to say is that players who mass rdm may file false reports against the players in the game who are abiding by the rules. If I understand his suggestion he is saying that if a player gets karma banned that any report that the banned player made against a player should just be thrown away.

 

Well, what happens when lets say me reports you atlas for rdming but I killed you for killing innocents and assuming you were a traitor and my karma is low enough I get banned and I file a report, but it is thrown away. I feel like there wouldn't be a way to distinguish a way between a real report or fake report in this regard. I understand now what you are saying I think, but there are still instances where a player gets karma banned who wasn't mass rdming.

Sad to say sometimes rdmers screw us over and we get karma banned for it. Lol just happens. I haven't yet, but I come close sometimes when you get those rdmers who you think are traitors and when they hit back to back you are just screwed, but my reports should still be valid.

Revenge RDM is still an RDM, like any other offenses. We cannot allow it for any reasoning. There are better ways to deal with RDMers (if they kill someone it's enough to kill them without RDMing because that's a T act). At o point should players take the rules to their hands, and obviously we aren't going to support such a thing either.
