You should be able to get DNA from Harpoons

Dunno if there's some reason why this isn't a thing already, but if a Traitor tries to be slimy and kill me with a harpoon from the T room and misses, I think I should be able to gather the DNA of the Traitor from the harpoon.

 

+support True, there should be a Risk in when you use a Harpoon and Miss.

 

Yeah, right now the only risk is it being thrown back through the T room. Getting DNA would be awesome!

Correct me if I am wrong, but the harpoon will leave DNA on a body, just not on the item itself.

Hmm great idea, I'm going to peek through the lua code of c4 and see what gives it the dna code and see how easy it might be to do for a harpoon.

 

Evertime I would go try to get DNA from the harpoon, I thought the DNA timer went down. Glad to know I wasnt a slow shit all the time xDD

Harpoons aren't living things, doofus; they don't have DNA.

 

You could say the same thing about getting DNA off of guns and c4s.

 

This could make it so you can find them through that same wall! and promptly return it into their face
