My question here is, how are you not landing headshots but people that have been suspected of hacking are able to land headshots no problem

 

If you're being serious, itd be due to lua aimbots targetting the players hitbox not the model. If you aren't serous then GFY

Damn, I thought I have been paranoid lately but that's been happening with me too. A headshot doesn't kill them, even with a shotgun, and I kept thinking to myself if I'm hitting the head or not??.

Seems to me that everyone's aim just sucks, because @Xproplayer fixed all the hitboxes! /thread

 

I found out why that 'no shots hitting an afk player!' issue might be happening. It seems that if a client lags when they are joining the server or when the round restarts, the hitbox gets offset from the player. I experimented with this and I noticed that if you shoot to the left/right to the player, your shots will suddenly register. I still need pics and hitbox showing enabled to confirm this.

 

I've gotten to the point in which I just embrace the terrible Gmod hitbox. It lets me blame the "shitbox" as an excuse as to why I missed some easy shots rather than just fessing up to my terrible aim.
