New Hitboxes Megathread

Did some quick research while having my morning coffee, @Highwon could simply send us the model files for master chief and we could expand all the hitboxes and re implement it, no new downloads, no loss of points, no more shitboxes. Everyones happy:

We've been waiting 3 years, dont expect jack shit to happen now.

 

Instead of being negative lets maybe work towards some progress?

So I decompiled the asgmod addon pack gma file, and found the .mdl file which I'm looking at now, heres all the hitboxes as they stand now:

I could edit these very easily it looks like, then itd have to be implemented in the server. Can we get input from upper administration that this could be a good compromise, playerbase does the work and highwon just implements? @Kyogre @CDriscoll


Edit 5 mins later of hitbox editting and the head is nearly perfect now, can easily edit the other hitboxes on the model or even other models like link.

Negative? Well you see I've been here long enough to know that shit doesnt get added.

There has been 10 halo models suggested with better Hitboxes, it doesnt get added.

What do you think playermodels are? Someone else doing the work and Highwon just adding it to the server, but nothing gets added/fixed anymore.

The model has been BROKEN FOR 3 YEARS, even back when Highwon was adding/fixing content it wasnt changed so now when he isn't, it won't be.

 

Seeing as how you're currently SB banned for toxicity, I don't think you provide an unbiased opionion. I doubt anyone in the past has offered to edit the hitboxes, literally all highwon would have to do is drag and drop the new mdl files and nothing else.

 

Do you know how everything is added to the server? Drag and drop.

 

Previous suggestions to replace the model would involve removing the old files uploading the new files and uploading the server workshop files, not just a drag and drop. Stop looking for the negative in everything dude

 

Okay you keep your positive outlook and see how much gets fixed/added, i was once like this too.

Can we not turn this suggestion thread into an 'Ego Boosting' thread? If you two want to compensate for lack of social skills, do it on the servers or in the 'Off-Topic' Discussion. The way this is going, it'll be 'progress' if both sides can agree to disagree whether or not the model has a botched hitbox.

 

THIS HAS BEEN GOING NO WHERE SINCE THE OP, IT'S DEAD JIM. NO MATTER WHAT FIX YOU HAVE, WHAT MODEL YOU GOT, WHAT SUGGESTION YOU MAKE, THE OWNER SAYS OTHERWISE. YOU CAN IGNORE THIS IF YOU WISH, CONTINUE TO WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO IMPROVE A FIX, BUT IN THE END, IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER.
