Why you should be unbanned:

ok, so i got banned from each server for 112 days, what gives? what did i do this time?? I have tried my best to not get banned from now on but i dont even know what i did wrong each time. i would like to know so i can appeal this.​

You were banned by @Candycaneore for "Rdm.leave 4th offense". Which was then further extended and globalised by myself. Candy will reply with her evidence and then I will decide if the ban is to stay globalised or not.

wahhhh everytime its rdm and leave im never notified of getting slain or smt... i try to make sure if i have any slays and im always sure i dont, so i dont even understand whats happened this time

You rdm EtchDeception at the start of the game and when I tried filing a report on you for a response you had already left. Which is why I banned you for rdm and leave.

but i talked to him and apologized because i still thought it was preround so i crowbarred but then the round started, i let him kill me, and after i asked if we were good and that im sorry. He said yes, so i assumed i was free to go since he wouldnt report me. I feel its a bit harsh to globalize this.

 

You see, all of this rdm and leave i have gotten are always misunderstood and complete accidents, i have done some things that im ok with getting banned for, but this time i tried my very best not to get banned. I talked with etcheddeception and if they reported me they should've said something. thats really shallow of them too since i went out of my way to make things good.

 

can i atleast not have a global ban? Ik i dealt 20 damage and left but i feel its a bit harsh to ban me for like 4 months for that. atleast from one server.

I would like to say that you are already making false accusations against EtchedDeception who did nothing wrong.

I had already said that "I" tried filing a report against you for the rdm.

As a staff member we also have to check the damage logs to see if there were any possible rdms that weren't reported or noticed by the players.

 

In what way have i accused them? Something i see a lot with some staff here is misunderstanding. I asked them if we were good and they said yes. Clearly they should've known also that you were gonna ban me, so im not sure why they couldnt have mentioned that it was completely accidental and that i felt i was ok to leave since the person rdmed was ok with it after killing me. They had to have been asked about the situation. Your side is different from mine because from my perspective, i was afk, cane back and saw it was preparing, then etched began to shoot at me in preround so for fun i crowbarred back. Just as i did so, the round started, and before i could apaolgize while alive they killed me. So i went on to pm them saying it was an accident and that i was sorry. They know it was an accident and from the rdmed's side, i dont think he would have me banned. If its possible to get them in the picture it would be great. Since they know i apologized. Also im not trying to disrespect anybody, but its a bit too harsh when the situation hasnt been fully solved from both sides.

 

I know that i should have asked if there were reports on me, but i was not aware admins would report you for seeing suspicious damage in the logs, for that i thought i was clear to leave. now i know that could happen, so ill stay for maybe another round if i can.

Thank you for taking the time to appeal your ban here today. As all the evidence has been posted I'll go ahead and do my closing statements and answer some of your concerns.

Firstly, you did RDM at the start of the round and even if the player forgave you that does not mean anything. Candy is a Moderator and does not have the discretion to allow for forgiveness in cases like this. She banned you accordingly. Also just because the player said it was okay does not mean that you can just leave and really you should know that. You have almost 20o hours on our servers and would know very well that it is almost never the case anyway. This isn't the first time you have been here, there are a plethora of appeals filed by you in the past and you would think by now that you would not be making the same mistakes over and over but you are.

My extension and globalisation of this ban has been done in the hopes that maybe this time you will actually learn from your mistakes and stop making them in the future. You are only hurting yourself doing this. I urge you, please, be more careful on the servers and communicate with the staff. We are there to help as best as we can, assuming you can go and just leaving is not helping either you or the staff. Always ask if you can go regardless. Even if you haven't RDMed that round, just make it a force of habit and then that way you would avoid things like this.

Now to clear up a few misconceptions.

Allowing the person you RDMed to kill you, or killing yourself with a kill bind is never a substitute for serving the slay itself and I would suggest not doing that in the future. Just wait for the actual slay to be issued.

It isn't just reporting suspicious damage, this case of RDM was so blatant as it was at the start of the round that I am perplexed as to why you left anyway. You could have messaged the staff member online and owned up to it. Why didn't you do that? Why apologise profusely to the player and not bother to talk to the Mod online? In the future just mention it to the mod. You know you did wrong so this could have all been avoided.

Again mods do not have discretion to allow for forgiveness of this type and hence why this played out the way it did. I would also like to bring up the fact that lying in your appeals is not that smart of an idea either. You crowbarred etched but he never killed you right away as evidently shown in the logs that Candy provided. In the future be careful of this as we do not appreciate lying.

Either way what happened, happened and I am at no inclination to unban you as this has happened in the past, 7 times to be exact. 7 times you have been banned for this offense before now over the course of almost 2 years and you still have not learned. I am really hoping that this lengthy global ban will maybe knock some sense into you. You need to change the way you go about things on the servers, communicate more and own up to your RDM. It will make things easier for you in the long run and you won't end up with bans like this again.
