Invalid Report against Wompzilla

Reason For Report:

I was told previously by another admin that if someone were to be carrying an explosive of sum sort it would be KOS able which happened to me at the time and i was killed. During this game a T carrying a turtle to the spawn where there were 2 or 3 individuals place the turtle in the middle, walked away and blew up the turtle with him being the only one who survived with me watching the whole thing. I then killed him and was then reported for killing without evidence. I was then slain, i tried to explain my side, but the admin at the time Wompzilla said i still had no evidence. I believe anyone with a to0 sense would have come to the conclusion that he in fact was the traitor. To top it all of the T who reported me began to taunt me. I would just like to know if the decision to slay me was the right choice? and if so, that the admin could make his investigations more thorough.​

Since I'm still on the server and handling reports, I'll make this quick.

Carrying an explosive turtle alone is not a KOSable act. The turtle must be carried towards a person. You also can't KOS a person for setting off a T trap that can be activated from a distance. Anyone can set it off. For these reasons, you received a slay. You neglected to explain that he had carried it towards a group of players, even when we were talking about it in game. If you had, you wouldn't have received that slay. You had an entire round to give further details.

((I neglected to explain)) The damage reports clearly showed that the turtle killed innocents. And again you should have been more thorough per say, how about asking if he was in fact directing it to individuals? I would not have killed him if he just randomly threw a turtle and it exploded. I wouldn't have filed a report if that was the case. (just fyi the image depicted is not the full conversation)

 

I agree. If the report was further investigated and a conversation of where the player was carrying the explosive turtle took place, I believe this report could have been avoided.

However, the exact wording of your response did not justify the kill—warranting the slay that was given to you by @Wompzilla.
