So how did everyone find/come up with your names? My name comes from one of my favorite 80's movies "Encino Man" , when I first watched the movie, when I was 12/13 years old, I heard the name of the character "Stoney" and was instantly hooked with the sound of it as a name! Instantly became my internet name for everything, and I mean everything! So share your story, how did you come up with your names
It was just a prank bro. Like seriously my first name was irekyou as a cocky joke that I was good at gmod. Then it stuck and it's abbreviated to rek now.

Back when I was around 12, I started hacking in a game called Maplestory. It was advantageous to have a name with letter's such as W's V's L's and I's since the font made them difficult to distinguish them apart. When I wrote my name, I first typed WVlI, and then I typed 4 random letters. It just happened to be Womp, so my name was WVlIWomp. After a few years, I was planning to make a new character, and an in game friend suggested Wompzilla. I've stuck with it ever since.
Eh, when i first started to play steam games i didnt even have a name. One day my friend was like "yo bro you should like totally change your name man" and i was listening to Elvis at the time and it just stuck.
Lol Winter is my middle name coming from my Dad who used to Roleplay games like D&D and my first name {REDACTED} and my middle name Winter comes from one of his characters.
Name first came from a game called SWTOR and a character I made. His name was spelled Gorgonmel like the gorgons from Zelda but I had always pronounced it as Gorgamel. Eventually I changed the spelling to Gorgamel and since that day I have been using it. Don't ask how I came up with Gorgonmel because I do not remember as it has been a couple years.
Gimc: Way back before I even knew about steam, I made an account on minecraft and got really into it and decided to make a clan. I was 1 of 3 leaders. The clan was called GIMC (Stands for Griefing In MineCraft), In later years a friend decided to ask what it stood for, jokingly he said "Does it stand for Get In My Car?" Ever since the clan split up, I have had that name. Snooper: Once there was a server called EvolutionGaming Darkrp, When I first joined, I ran into a player name Snoop Dogg. Snoop and I became great friends, At one point Snoop chose to buy a Custom Class and said If I added Snoop to my name he would give me free access to the class, thus changing my name to Snoop Papa. Well Snoop got banned when I got Admin, and The name Stuck. So In the End I decided to make the name: Snooper [Gimc]
I'm pretty sure we've had like 3 threads like this before but why not make another ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I got my name from my first xbox 360 account. Nothing special just thought of it and machinekiller was taken so I put 00 and that worked out.

This is just the name I've used for a while on Steam, among many others. But this one is from the character name I usually went by on Town of Salem for shiggles.
Long story short, the first game I ever played was Lotus Land Story on an old PC98. Every username I have ever used can, in some way shape or form, be tied back to Touhou. Doremey -> Doremy -> Doremy Sweet: Stage 3 boss of Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, who has literally burned through more than one thousand of my lives in total. S.P.A.R.K. -> Spark -> Spark Master -> Master Spark: Spell Card that wasted hundreds of my lives back in Imperishible Night. In other words, I name myself after the Spell Card or boss that has given me the most trouble. (Though this name will stick for quite some time because Doremy's spiral nonspells are freaking impossible)
