The old map was so much better. I understand that some people like the updated version, but the fact is that the update has killed the popularity of the map. It went from a map that I played many times a day to a map that I haven't even seen since before I became a trial mod (which has been about 80 hours of gameplay). I understand there was lag for some players, but would you really give up such a popular map over it? You know what, I appologize. I didn't search before I wrote this, but I hope people have changed their minds since the last time this was suggested.
I certainly understand that was a hassle for staff and players to deal with, however, we could always bring back the old map and make some slight edits to it. I would much prefer even this version of the map made by @Unknown Gamer over the one we currently have: http://www.seriousgmod.com/threads/ttt_community_pool_classic_v2.17593/ All I want is the popularity of the map to return, and I believe something like this can do it. I don't have any preference over the edits to the map, all I'm asking is that it is in the style of the old version.
+1 this community pool is awful, someone can get rid of the rain, and change the trap, or just have it cloudy, where the lighting can still strike.
+1 bring back the good pool! The new version of pool is simply for visual aesthetics. The old pool was actually fun and compelling from a gameplay standpoint, which allowed experienced players to excel. The one vs. one battles between traitors and detectives were always a very enjoyable spectacle. I have not even played the new pool in weeks, whereas the old pool was constantly in popular rotation.
Did you mean T's hiding in the T room and teleporting around the map picking innocents off and then the last T just sitting in there for ages? Enjoyable is not the word i'd use..

That is a different argument about the map being removed for other issues not comparing it to our current one.
+1 I much prefer the old pool and actually miss it and its annoying secret knife and props left at the bottom of the damn ladder. It was a fun map though
Bro... That thread is from 2014. The new community pool was added this year. I think you should've done the research instead. Now on the suggestion, I'd +1 it if the old map wasn't laggy as hell at spawn, people kept blocking the doors and the famous water drop with the shelf. I'd -1 it but the current map is very big, though it lags way less. I will +1 it if the issues are fixed, but for now I'll stay neutral for this one.
-1 For me unfortunately because of the continuous issue of Prop Surfing to Unreachable area. It becomes too much of a hassle and a prime aspect of targeting if someone decides to mess someone's attempt to do so and the wretched sound of the screeching pool closing T trap. It was an annoyance to everyone. Not even typing Stopsound in console would stop it.
Actually I did. As I stated the same reasons are why it should be added back, popularity. Now let's end it here as it's something that isn't worth talking about any more
