Reason For Report:

I was playing TTT with some friends. All was normal til I killed someone who threw a grenade at me on a tall ledge. I shot him then got a slay. As I was responding to the report I randomly got another round of slay. I was angry as asked "Turtles" where i can file a report. He muttered it so i asked again. In which I was banned for RDM x3​

Hey Midas.

I banned you for three offenses of RDM, in 3 different rounds. Our punishment for RDM x3 is a 24 hour ban, so that's why you received your ban.

I have a recording of each of your offenses of RDM, and I have uploaded it to youtube, and linked it below. As you can see, your first offense of RDM was for pushing a player off the map for being AFK. I reported your for the RDM after seeing the logs. I will typically check the logs while dead just to see if there was anything unreported, which there was, and I reported it. Your second offense was reported in the same way. I found that you had damaged a fellow innocent with an incendiary grenade, for seemingly no reason, and I reported to see if you did have a reason for the Incendiary. Your response was that you were "joking around" which is not adequate, as allowing a player to RDM you is still RDM. Your third offense is the one you mention, when you RDMed me. Now, as you point out, throwing grenades such as the discombob I had is kosable, the problem is that I didn't throw it. I pressed my "drop" button and dropped it off the map since discombobulators are usually useless as an inno. You mistakenly thought I had thrown it, and you killed me for it. That was your third offense of RDM, and after checking with my Admin, I made sure I was issuing the correct punishment.

I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding, but you were banned for RDM x3, and there was no abuse or mistake on my part.

So. You punished me when 3 other people were attempting to push a afk off. Which I mentioned and you quickly ingored

The second one was with my friend I mentioned "Flareinferno" In which as a joke I said "Im going to burn the bodys!" After killing a T.

And the third reason at 3:03. Look at it from my view. Im on a ledge. If I fall I die. Someone comes up and throws a grenade and backs up. How do you think I should react?

 

And yes. I accept I was in the wrong at the first point by killing the afk. But about the 3rd "RDM" From watching your view you were trying to get me to kill you. Why throw a displacer grenade. On a ledge. For no reason. there wasnt even a grenade on the floor to pickup

 

Whether or not anyone else was pushing this player, it was you who pushed them and cause their death, which is clear when looking at the logs, so there is nothing I could do about the other players as they had done nothing wrong. You, however, had RDMed a player and I had cause to slay you.

As it says in the MOTD, allowing a player to RDM is still RDM, so for this I once again had reason to slay, this time for 2 rounds because it was your second offense.

I dropped the grenade because, as I already stated, I don't find them useful. Because I dropped it, and did not throw it, I did nothing traitorous. Regardless of how you feel about the situation, you did RDM, and as this was your third offense I banned for 24 hours. We have 6 other TTT servers that you can play on during your ban.

You pulled out your grenade at 2:57 and threw it at me 3:03. If you say they are no use to you why not throw it as soon as you got it
As I stated. You provoked me into shooting you. This is clear evidence of it.

And 2ND point. He infact ran into the incen grenade. I can get his word for it if you like,

And as i said above. I was in the wrong at point one.

 

I did not drop my grenade in an attempt to provoke you. I hadn't even interacted with you at this point other than slaying and reporting. I had no reason to target you, and I did not do anything to provoke RDM.

You damaged him with the explosion, as shown in the logs and in the video. Even then, it does not matter if he ran into the grenade. What matters is that you threw a grenade for no reason, which damaged an innocent, which is considered RDM.

Well it must have been some coincidence then if you had all that time to throw away something you dont find useful. (To my knowledge this is called T-Baiting

Aswell my friend has registered onto the fourms and cannot send a message on this section. It would be helpful if he can be granted permission to reply on this page. Or i can give his input through copy and paste (This friend is the person who I "Killed")

Thank you for taking your time to report my moderator Turtles, and for keeping our servers clean. After watching the video and reading each of your responses to this thread, however, I'm going to be marking this invalid and locking it up. As far as your kills go, each slay, and ultimately the ban, was warranted.

Turtles has not shown any lapse in judgement, and was simply following protocol throughout his time on the server. Throughout each of these instances of RDM, his verdict was spot on, and his punishments were just. Turtles explained why each of these instances were RDM in his posts above and, as such, I don't feel it is necessary to repeat what he's laid out.

Again, thank you for taking your time to report my moderator Turtles, as not all reports are negative, and can provide an opportunity to review our staff's behavior. I hope to see you around on the servers.
