I may have bought it for ps4 on accident (didn't realize it wasn't cross platform incompatible)

What location is the base at?

 

How is the performance of the game? Has it improved significantly since launch?

 

I just bought the game.

 

It's improved a lot. Way better than what DayZ could do in 1 year.

 

It's only on xbox and PC?

PS4 comes out in June.

 

If you're having performance trouble, disable distance field shadowing, motion blur, turn down ground clutter and mesh level of detail.

I've got 2 x GTX 970's, and they can handle full epic at 2560 x 1440 (25fps ), but I get about 40fps lowering shadow details.

Ground clutter is the biggest issue with lower end GPU's

 

Hope this going to help you guys, lol. I tried to find it on google but they don't have it. It is on an app call ark survival guide. If you can't find it I got you guys, my bad for such a bad picture. It didn't fit the screen so i have to crop it and it got all ugly. I would check out (50 x-intercept , 80 y-intercept) see if that spot open for ya'll.

Taming Tip: I built wooden dinosaur gate with little bit of space between them for me to shoot nacro arrow at the dino. I built it right next to my base so i can run back and fort and easy to be checking on. Hope you guys dominate a server soon !

 

That spot going to be hard to farm metal. I don't really remember if the two underwater cave near you have metal in it. Some underwater cave doesn't have metal in it, but it is really great to build a base down there. I swam 3 Spinodinosaures down into the cave and build 1 behemoth door outside in front of the cave and 2 behemoth door inside of the cave. the base take 8x more dmg when it is in the cave. But the good part is that they cant bring Trex or lane dino down there. Water dino is pretty hard to tame and you can point machine gun directly at the water.

 

Ayee im hella sorry for spamming. Just want to clear things out so you guys dont waste your time. Blue and Brown Icon are both cave. Mountain is the one with a lot of circle in one spot. really sorry for spamming tho. xD

 

I might start getting into Ark now that my hours are balancing out. We will see how next week goes.

 

Yeah it is like 3mins fly there hahaha, I haven't touch video game since school started. That's why i got messed up on the map. Ark survival is my favorite game when it just came out and still now. So many people are playing now made me craving to play it again so bad! But got to grind now to have a good future. I'm really looking forward to play this game again maybe when summer start, if I don't have to rush to go to UC.
