The 4790k's sure seem to be popular. Ironically, I built my work PC with the 4790 using all gaming parts (except for a workstation fireGL card). Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666Mhz on a ASUS VII Maximus Hero

This rig is mainly for CAD and 3D drafting. It's fast as hell though!
