I was on the server earlier today for the 1st or second time and now i tried to get on 5:56 est 1/30/16 and am banned for 5 days. I didnt get a warning/slay before so....​

Apologies that I didn't see this sooner. Now then, let's go with your appeal @Yukiteru Amano .

So basically I saw that you made a report on the player Squamston for him killing you. However, interestingly enough, I read your side of the story on what happened and you explained that you damaged 2 players for fun. The player who killed you responded with the reason that he killed you since you hit and damaged him. Since you chose to RDM 2 players without a reason, I chose to give you the appropriate amount of punishment, which is 2 slays for damaging 2 players. Below is the definition of RDM on our servers and how it pertains to your situation.



After I gave you the two slays, you also shortly chose to leave the servers without fully serving your slays and without asking a staff member whether you had an impending slay on you or not. As a result of this and the fact that you left, I chose to ban you for the appropriate length. Since this was your first offense of RDM & Leave, you received a 5 day ban. Below here will be the screenshots of what I explained so far.

Considering that you also got banned for RDM & Leave 2nd Offense shortly after this ban, I will be denying this appeal. I suggest heavily that you get into the habit of waiting out your impending slays before leaving the servers. Otherwise, you will be banned for RDM & Leave more often.

well before i was given the punishment of slayn i went to play TF2. So how can i actually follow through if i wasnt informed before i left. Also how can i have a 2nd offence if i was only have a few hours on gmod (mosyly in sandbox) and i was only on these servers once and was not banned. Note that it was this weekend i actually joined the server. I understand the banned but i have not had a 1st offence so my ban should not be so long

 

You get a notification in your chat that tells you that you will be slain for 2 rounds. Another alternative would have been if you asked another staff member whether you have a slay or not (which in your case, you did have slays, but didn't ask about it). When you are about to be slain, you get a message in chat saying "Guilty will slay you for the next 2 rounds". Mind you, my ban is only 5 days and it is the first offense of RDM & Leave as stated in the MOTD.

While we're getting into the topic of what should have been, I would like to ask you a few things. Can you really say that you should not have your current ban length when you chose to RDM 2 players? Can you really say you don't deserve the ban length despite breaking our rules and leaving to avoid the consequences? Keep these in mind while you sit out these 5 days on the server I banned you on. As far as @Holo the Wise Wolf 's goes, that goes down to her on the verdict.
