Because this is just sad to look at And the majority of players on EU2 usually agree that it is not a very good map. It hurts to look at and the blocky land is just annoying. Anyone that enjoys this map can always just play on EU1. No need to have it on EU2.
You have the power to cote on maps, right? If players didn't want it then they wouldn't vote for it. Also, maps usually get removed when a replacement is suggested. Either way -1
Still, I think it's silly that there's a minecraft map in the rotation when you guys have a whole server dedicated to them.
With Minecraft maps being one of the only options for vanilla servers, I dont understand how this is the only one with "block land" when all of them have it. Plus, Why would it be voted for if people didnt enjoy it. -1 And even in EU2, it is still an enjoyable map even though people usually dont vote on it.
EU2 is not vanilla. I am not saying this is the only map with annoying "block land". Just saying it's the only one in the EU2 rotation that has it. People vote for amsterville too and then complain about it in the map. It happens to be one of my favorite maps, so I dont want to sound like a hypocrite here, but if there was an amsterville 24/7 server, then I would definitely be alright with it being removed from the EU2 map rotation, if it always got complaints when it got voted. During today in the afternoon it was voted nearly everytime it was available. That's what triggered me hard enough to make this post.
I do not believe you are showing an accurate representation of Minecraft B5. Firstly, Vanilla USA early in the morning is usually dead especially with now schools starting up again. Whilst you EU-ers are already going into the afternoon gaming away. I see your point, you're saying should be removed on EU 2. Usually if you want a map to be removed, as Mango said you should suggest a replacement with all the proper files and information. I do not believe it should be removed on the modded servers, because primarily it is a very well put together map compared to the atrocious ones of the past and it sort of brings together the vanilla servers too which is one of the staples of SGmod. Furthermore, you can easily RTV and pick the other many maps aside from it. It is VERY difficult for everyone to pick MC B5 at the same time with the vote grid the modded servers have. However, it may be more understandable if the vote is heavily swayed due to donator vote power. Nevertheless, if it is voted up then there should be minimal complaints if the majority of people do detest the map it can be RTV'd and then the donators cannot necessarily mess with you then. Edit: -4 because it's a reminder of Elite donator vote.
Being sad to look at isn't exactly a good reason to remove something. Besides there is nothing actually wrong with the map, if anything its more complex than most. The other servers aren't dedicated to "Minecraft" they're dedicated to Vanilla TTT, Minecraft maps just happen to not require CS. Thanks but no thanks.
The Minecraft map has been on the server since day 1(I think). If the map had any problems it would of been removed by now.
