There's actually a fair amount of community suggested content that is on the backburner to be added soon. I strongly advise to garner more patience for our DR content packs, as we understand the concerns and will be rolling out content when appropriate. Thanks for your suggestion.
How the hell was Oreo, Mix Madness, Docks, Rooftops, and Tribute added then? Those maps are boring. unappealing, are easily bhoppable and are never played.
TTT will be getting love as soon as possible! I've found a couple of 2016 map updates and some fresh new models for ranks, so those are some things to look out for! I promise you that we're always thinking about the community.
Just going to hijack this thread for my own personal interest I've said this many times and I'll say it again, communication would be wonderful. A simple "Under consideration" or "I'll look into it" is not hard to do. So many times I've seen legitimate suggestions ignored, even though they garner considerable community support. People just give up advertising because hell, what's the point? Using my recent suggestion for two halloween maps for example. It got a decent amount of likes and +1s, so I pinged you hoping it could be considered before the event rolled out. ( Spoiler, it didn't. ) but you never responded. I'm not salty about that, you probably have a fair amount of alerts everyday, but there was never any other response. A simple "No, because [X]" would suffice. I would appreciate it enormously.
Leads don't have the power to implement server-side additions, only Highwon has the ability to do that. Even if they wanted something added they'd have to pass it along to Highwon who simply skims topics on the forums not necessarily having time to say "no" or "yes" to suggestions. If he likes something, he'd note it in his head and come back to it eventually. Unless a suggestion is completely out there (bulk cannon all the time, deathmatch) they can't really shoot down or put a suggestion into effect. Kinda puts them between a rock and a hard place so more often then not, they just don't reply because whatever they say wouldn't benefit the suggestion at all.
My opinion on leads is a little skewed, I guess. Maybe in the future, leads could have more authority with suggestions then? Highwon is undoubtedly busy with real life stuff, but if he doesn't even have the time to say "yes" or "no" to a suggestion, it's no surprise that community suggestions are slow to be reviewed. Obviously someone is greenlighting the new models such as arbiter and spyro. Can we try to get those popular suggestions I linked on page 1 some love whenever the ttt update rolls out?
