Im curious, who else here is a musician and what instrument/ profession are you in music? For me, im a C-Flutist and a beginner keyboard player.
@Darktooth can comment on this. Used to play a lot of instruments. Cello, guitar, bass guitar, violin, piano, drums, etc. Though I stopped playing them for now for school. Might get right back into an instrument when I graduate.
Heyo! I'm currently enrolled in the Crane School of Music, which is one of the best colleges for Music Education in the country! I've been playing clarinet since about 4th grade, and on and off I've been picking up some instruments on the way. I also picked up piano during my time here, and I've gotten pretty damn good at it!
I can also play the piano, been playing since I was 6, one of the best songs I can play currently is probably Wings of Piano - V.K (I would record myself playing if my mic didn't pick up reverb) and I'm also learning how to play the Alto Saxophone. I'm trying to branch out and learn different songs like Hikari (Simple and Clean) and Last Song - Megurine Luka for the piano, too.
Tenor 2 in Choir I have two years of experience with the Clarinet and some experience with Piano. I only sing nowadays though.
The two best musicians on here (Event and Forcie) are currently banned.... Which is too bad. I play piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and some other things that hardly count as instruments. I also make music on my computer, which people can check out here if they want: https://soundcloud.com/chrisbonell (warning, NSFW! As soon as you click you will see breasts).
When you say Tenor 2 does that mean lower than a Tenor 1 or ...? Because when I think of a Tenor 2 I think of a Baritone.
I sing! I've been singing for about 6 years now. I play electric guitar, violin, piano, and the drums. ^.^
I've played guitar for quite awhile, and I can play piano. I'd like to branch out and learn more, maybe one day.
My dad is extremely musically inclined and has tried teaching me piano and guitar, but I never stick with anything long enough. Like I know, but I don't But I can play a mean Ukulele. <-- the only instrument I've stuck with hahaa. EasyPeasy though ;-;
I used to play the violin. I played it for 7 years from when I was 7 years old. I was taught via the Suzuki method of teaching which is a method that I found to be rather effective. I used to absolutely love playing the violin but then life happened and I gave it up to deal with other pressing personal maters. I hope to pick it up again soon however, hopefully when I move into the city is when I can do so as I kinda miss it. My violin itself is my pride and joy. I had 2 violins prior to getting my full sized one. I had a half size when I started and it was the colour purple. I have absolutely no idea why I picked a purple violin but I did. My 3/4 sized violin was a dark brown in colour and the chin rest on that one was one of the best I had ever had. My baby now however is my favourite violin that I have ever owned. I got her imported from Germany and I regret nothing. She is extremely light, one of the lightest violins I have ever held and is a beautiful light coloured wood. She sounds lovely when actually played too which is a bonus. (You would be surprised at how different some violins sound depending on their make). I also aspire to play the drums at some point too because why the hell not!
Armpit farting. Jk. I've played the violin for ten years. I am currently in the Canton Youth Symphony
I've been playing guitar for about six or seven years now, Not so much recently because of school and stuff. Pretty sure Muffin is like 10 times better than me too.
I played piano since I was 5, although I've been slacking for the last couple years (as I no longer have a captive or appreciative audience.) My crowning achievement was the solo piano arrangement for Rhapsody in Blue, for which there is a video floating around out there somewhere. It's a lovely song, but holy hell does it give you emotional whiplash from all the tempo changes.
