So, as of the 31st of this month, I will have been on the servers for 5 months. I know right? How time flies when one is having fun! I know that I am so grateful for stumbling upon these hella fine servers and I can't wait to spend even more time on here in the future. I stayed initially because of how easy it was to immerse myself into the community. It's strange, at this point the regulars and staff members is almost 90% different, but the feel is still very much the same(this is good thing). Had a great time being myself on the servers and had an even greater time being able to explore my potential as a professional. Being staff helped hone my skills towards key traits needed in the real world - such as discipline, ability to listen to authority, patience, and above all else the ability to empathize with others. I stay today for those same reasons and strive to better myself to help the community because ultimately helping SGMOD, helps me out in the long-run for my own goals. I guess it's a little selfish? Haha.
The rules, the staff, the players, meeting bae Anna @kynwall showed me that people do come and enforce the rules on my first day on the server, the reason I stayed in the first place. @Drunk Dog inspired me to become a mod and @BeautifulButterfly supported me a lot. All the protocols and rules are why I love the TTT servers, along with the fact that most rules have been debated and have very good reasons for being in place. @MrEvanJ | SP @Fiefoe and many others kept me in the community outside of gmod. The shoutbox is always loads of fun, and the reports and appeals are usually interesting to watch. People here are accepting and funny. Insults are tossed about in the most loving manners. SeriousGmod community are my friends and family <3
I joined and stayed on these servers because of the general stability and quality of staff compared to the other available TTT servers. The rest is just the icing on the cake.
Hey Anna, thanks for the giveaway! If I win, I want you to hand deliver me the cash, actually. Anyways, I stayed because of a few things. One was when I become moderator the first time, it was really nice to add a whole different aspect of the game, and now I really just like only moderating and interacting with others. Two, this would be because of some people who kept me staying, like CoCo and Azure for instance, without them I probably would have given up and left when I was going through tough times. Why am I still here? Maybe it's my obsession with trying to help others out, to improve this community. Maybe it's all of you guys, who I count as my friends and who make me laugh and have a good time despite how crappy my real life is going.
The solidity of staff rules and enforcement of said rules makes this a much more calm and collected server and environment. It's really a very nice thing to have in comparison to the servers that have an inconsistent variety of staff rules and a lot of corruption with said rules. So, I stayed for the spiders in Minecraft City V4.
The maturity of the staff and a friendly server. There are also not much rule breakers on the W and E servers.

It's hard to sum up in one specific sentence on why I continue to stay in this community. Being here for over a year and a half now, there are many reasons why I adore this community the most out of others. I will spare you the many details of my many reasons and just give you two of mine. Firstly, the community of players are not pretentious, stuck up or overly competitive for the most part. This was honestly quite welcoming to me as I used to not always be outgoing like I am now. I was shy at the beginning to a new community. I didn't know what to do or what to expect. However over time, I began to form friendships with many people here because they were kind, humorous and non-judgemental. There maybe a few trolls here and there but this community has got to be the most kindest one for me to come to and I would recommend anyone to join this ever so growing community. Secondly, the server staff are absolutely outstanding. At first, I did not think that the server staff at the time of my first coming were going to be the most capable or understandable. Based on my own prior experiences and some popular belief, I was expecting a lot of abuse. This was proved wrong to me after seeing how kindhearted, generous and mature the staff were to each other and members of the community. Joining the staff team for the first time was an exhilarating experience. I enjoyed the intellectual opinions that are thrown into debates. The mods have a great work ethnic and the administration lead this community, my fellow mods and even myself extremely well. I would not trade anything in the world for my moderator spot. If I do win, I would like to split the donation with someone else. $10 for me and $10 for the other. If you can do that, I would really appreciate it. Edit: For the donation, I would like to give it to someone else since I have elite currently.
I stayed because the community is unlike any I have ever experienced before, very little do you find a community with such a professional staff team, and with all the friendly players I have the pleasure of playing with almost everyday.
