    Reason For Report:
The round started with me in one of the bathrooms on the map. The detective walked in and I was keeping the door shut, knowing that I was innocent. He, Being "BagginsCauseImSwaggins", KOSed me for no reason. I told him to call it off and he did not after about half a minute. I killed him and he reported me saying he called it off, which he didn't (all of this was in text chat). I then reported him back and said that he KOSed me for no reason. Puddles then proceeded to slay me instead of the Detective that broke rule number 10 in the Motd. After asking why I was being slain instead of him she replied with "You can't kill the detective unless he damages you". I have had previous issues with puddles and so have many other players. Granted some of those players are problem causers but I am not. She is not fit to be a mod at all. She lets her emotions get the best of her instead of following protocol/rules.

I was also a witness, though I was not able to view the damagelogs and see what actually happened, I remeber that @BagginsCauseImSwaggins did infact call a KOS but never called it off in chat nor in voice chat.

@Muffin will respond with the verdict on this report and @puddles will respond with her reasoning for the slay.

Also I noticed you used a picture of our motd in your evidence, check what it says about Detectives and Traitorous Acts

I'd just like to point out 2 facts here.

    1. Killing a detective for any reason other than self defense after being damaged is considered RDM.

    2. A KOS is only considered RDM if it is acted upon by any other player on the server.

That being said, I'll let the @puddles and @Muffin sort out the rest of the details.

  5. I was killed shortly after that due to the KOS.

  6. So what does that mean? It says "No FALSE KOS". Yet calling KOSes on innocents does not apply to detectives? The rules are literally conflicting themselves if your implication is correct.

But again, you still can't kill a detective for it unless he specifically damages you. He didn't damage you at all. The only thing he did was call a KOS on you, but never acted on his own KOS. Calling a false KOS is a traitorous act. Detectives are immune to traitorous acts. This is why you were slain.

  8. As far as I know you can kill a person once you are KOSed by that person NO MATTER WHAT. By calling a False KOS that is RDM. But whatever the case this will be handled I guess.

That's if a player is committed a traitorous act. Any non-detectives committing a traitorous act are liable to be killed if they are seen. Remember what was stated earlier and in the MOTD: Traitorous acts do not apply to detectives. Calling a False KOS is NOT RDM unless someone acts on it and if the caller is calling it out for no specific reason.

Calling a false KoS is RDM if it results in a player receiving damage or dying; the caller would receive a slay if that happens. A KoS is considered false if it was called on a player that had not committed a traitorous act; leaving no reason for the call out. Because you were killed after you killed the detective, the kill was legitimate as there was another reason you may have been killed; committing a traitorous act.

As stated previously, traitorous acts do not apply to detectives and you may not kill on unless in direct self defense; meaning they must damage you.

A way you could have handled that situation is to ask them to call off the KoS. You obviouslyou know they are the a traitor so, unless the shoot you, there's no reason to kill them. I mean, after you do that, you could be killed for killing a detective.

    Greetings Nightmare.

You were accidentally(so he says) KOS'd by the detective Biggie on Clue. You shot and killed him after he KOS'd you because he didn't call it off fully. He did say "no" in chat, but I assume from his response(I'm not on my PC at the moment) he meant no KOS on you, not refusing to take it off. You killed him, which is what lead to your death.. No one shot at you until after you shot the detective. I asked @irritatingness if the KOS would have been a cause for Biggie to be killed and he stated no, that the detective would have to have done dmg to you for you to be able to legitimately kill him. I explained this to you in game and you replied with "okay, whatever." If there was confusion about the situation, you could have asked- this is a very simple issue that can be further explained if you didn't understand.

I can provide the evidence once I get on my PC of necessary.

I personally feel my peers have gone over the subject quite thoroughly, so I'm going to lock this until @Muffin has a chance to respond.

    Thanks,
    Puddles

Puddles is correct here, as are her peers.

Calling a KOS on someone is traitorous. However, as others have stated before, Detectives are immune to traitorous acts. The only time you can really kill a Detective as an Innocent is when they are doing damage to you, blocking you in a location in which you will die if you don't move, things like that.

I hope this clears up any confusion, and if you have any further inquiries, please feel free to message me here on the forums.

This report has been found invalid. Thanks for reporting.
