Just a quick thread for everyone to tell why the decided to stay on the server rather than say RDM, or Ghost with another server. What made me stay was that the moderators and staff made pretty good decisions and would always help you. also the fact that the server is unique and has a lot of friendly community members! What about you? What made you stay on the server?
Because after a while, being toxic is boring as hell. I've tried, like once. Never liked it, never did it again.
that was the most beautiful thing i have ever read.... brought a tear to my eye. :') But in all seriousness it was the first server i ever joined and i liked it. Then when i got banned i went to other communitys and they are all poop. So yeah this is the best, great friends here, great people, and great staff.
I'd gotten tired of servers where the staff team played with their powers, favored friends, and clearly didn't have access to sufficient information (or brainpower) to make informed judgments.
@BmTron Naw, the people is what made me stay. I played on two other servers when I first found STTT but unlike the others, the people in STTT made me want to come back. I've played on a lot of TTT servers before and none of the come close to the community here.
I've been apart of STTT since like April of 2014, and the main reason I stayed was because of friends. Most of them quit now, which is why I rarely play, but I still play from time to time because of them. That, and I hope I can make new ones.
Because @Copilot and @Falcor are the long-lost loves I never knew I had. Seriously though, it's a fun, progressive server that does a damn good job of fairly incorporating the rules and community's input. Sure, a few mistakes and oversights are had here and there, but only certain automatons could be considered capable of infallible capabilities in a select field, but automatons don't have personality or clever responses to discontent and blatant rule-breaking explanations.
Just got hooked on the gamemode. This is the first TTT server I ever joined and I instantly fell in love. I also fell in love with the community very fast and thats what got me hooked.
LOCALLLLL I stayed for the players and staff, I instantly had a great time on the servers. Plus the rules were always understandable and nicely enforced. (remembering the first time i ran up to player with an explosive barrel and got headshotted then reported said player, hahaa)
I stayed because I loved the atmosphere and the community as a whole. I agreed almost wholly with the ruleset we had and still have, and I just enjoyed the gaming experience our servers provided. Same reason I am still here; the community is a huge factor for me.
I stayed for the following reasons: 1. I am not that type of person who enjoys to be that trollish rulebreaker. 2. I loved and admired many parts of the servers/community and its members. 3. The staff members were very nice, respectable and welcoming.
I played Flood then was brought here by aliens who then brain washed me and now use me as a slave... oh now I've said too much they'll brain wash me again!
