Why you should be unbanned:

I am not looking to be unbanned, per-say; I merely believe that my assigned ban amount did not fit under the standard system. I will admit that I did mass rdm, however I was banned 3 days for it instead of 1 day.​

Evidence of Innocence:

While I am new to the server, and don't have much exposure to the in's and out's of punishment here, I believe I was punished with an unfair length of time on my ban. According to the extended rules:

"-Mass RDM does not stack under any circumstance; 3 rdms=1 day ban even with 10 offences (An Administrator may use discretion to punish differently.)"

And my offense was "Mass RDM ( 7x ) without staff online - Rek" - which should = a 1 day ban, unless an Administrator decided on a different punishment for me, which I don't believe since no staff was on, and I was banned by CONSOLE. That, or when staff is not online, punishment rules are different.

If a 3 day ban is reasonable however, please explain what criteria it falls under, so that I may understand. Thank you. I am not innocent of rdm, but perhaps the assigned punishment.​

However, just to clarify. If you RDM over 4 times, it's RDM (4+) which is a 5 day ban.

Also, to clarify the "CONSOLE" part. If you are karma banned, you will receive a ban from CONSOLE. However, if a staff member sees you were RDMing without staff, your ban will be changed from the 1 hour CONSOLE ban to an RDM without staff online ban.

 

Alright, thank you for explaining this to me. So what is the difference between mass rdm (3+) and rdm (4+) ? wouldn't mass rdm just be (3)? Sorry for the complications. ^~^ ...Actually, I came on here to look for justified punishment. If the actual punishment is 5 days, I figure I deserve that, right?

 

Mass RDM (3) occurs when the player RDMs 3 times, and is only punished with a one day ban.
Mass RDM (4+) is when the player goes on an absolute rampage and RDMs four or more people, which results in the higher 5 day ban.

You were banned by Rek for RDMing without staff online, and I believe he misinterpreted our protocol, as you should have been banned for 5 days, as our protocol states, and I'm sorry about the minor mistake. For reference, here's the protocol for RDM without Staff Online:

-RDM with No Staff Online Ban-
RDM x1: 8 hour ban
RDM x2: 16 hour ban
RDM x3: 24 hour ban
RDM 4+: 5 day ban

First of I want to say your appeal will be granted due to my negligence.

I want to apologize and say I take FULL responsibility for this. When I was being trained and someone said "Each RDM without staff is 8 hours long" I took it as no matter how many offenses the player had, it would stack. So in your case 7 offenses * 8 hours = 56 hours.
