Hello, I am a community member at different community. I am not here to advertise, i am here to give warning concerning a potential abuser that has recently plauged our community. This player, known in our community as "VACation" claims to systematically obtain admin or moderator status in various communities and massively ban players after gaining their trust. I have a link to a CSGO Demo from one of our community. Seeing that we do not allow people to buy into a staff position in this community, I don't really see this being an issue for us. Regardless, thank you for the heads up.
Thank you for the notice, however we only allow staff members under a trial phase period and an application process. We are now aware!
Honestly if any community has trouble with someone like this it's their fault for giving donators staff power. That's just asking for someone to donate to abuse power.
Like rhazh said If your able to donate for admin powers then your just giving ppl incentive to abuse and the fact that he was able to get a refund after and fucking retarded...... I would say they got what they deserved but it's their fault for being corrupt with money.
Well the main reason he was able to do so much damage to your community is because you allow purchasing of powers, which is a huge mistake in of itself. Stuff like this is bound to happen when anyone with their mom's credit card can buy admin. For your community, I would take this as a lesson learned and perhaps discuss other ways to pay for hosting costs and such. With that said, thank you for letting us know about this player, and we will keep a close eye on him if he joins our community.
making admin rank purchasable is never a good idea, but anyway its not like hes doing any permanent damage, so I doubt anything that would happen would be un-fixable
I don't disagree with any over donation for admin status. Unfortunately, the issue with the community is funding to keep it going, and this is the most lucrative way to keep it going. I merely wanted to make certain that if this player does attempt to gain admin status in anyway, that he should be barred from it. It isn't much of an issue for really any server, since its just banning (easily fixable), however it is a pain in the ass. Thank you again for the comments concerning.
@SCA_Satan he did damage then he charged back, in the end he won. You guys should find a better way to make funds.
