People who claim to have a favorite song seem to generally be spur of the moment/didn't think it through/don't mean what I am saying to the extent at which my words take it, type of people. Similar to saying such things as "This is the best day of my life!" when drunk, or "This food is TO DIE for" when eating some bullshit. In my opinion, if you're a rational human being, you've probably taken into account the number of various songs, artists, and genres you listen to, and understood that what may seem like your favorite song right now, is likely not what your favorite song was a month ago, and not what it will be a month from now. The general concept of this thread seems to not so much be "What is your favorite song", but instead "Post a song to show people a certain image of yourself which has been likely forged to a degree in order to make people like you more or think differently about you to some extent, generally for the purpose of stroking your own ego", although, I'm most likely overthinking this, as I tend to do.
