The community; once Garry's Mod and TTT has become bland, the community spices it back up. I like the minimalist point-shop; there's so many servers with ridiculous hats and trails and other special items that just aren't necessary and add to the quick DL and it's such a hassle. The staff; love the staff, they're responsive and helpful, and they take pride in the community. The weapons and upgrades; the weapons are diverse and sometimes I have an issue trying to pick which one I want just because I like a handful of them. The upgrades are plenty useful, and are worth all of the points you put into them, and sort of give you a goal to work towards (my current goal is the 1-hit knife, I'm 27K away c: ).
Just like everyone else, I really love the community. I also like the variety of weapons, player models, and upgrades/jihad sounds which I've never seen on a server before. Our server is unique, and I like that.
I absolutely love the community and all the players that make this place great. I love that the staff are held to high standards so the staff stay at their "A" game. I love the variety as it is not to much or to little. Overall whats not to like
The staff system. Since I joined here and found out how the staff operate, I was really impressed at how robust and clean the system was. What I mean is, every 4 moderators answer to an admin, every 5 admins answer to a lead, and the leads answer to each other. This way everyone is held accountable, and if someone's behavior/actions are in question you can immediately point to the person that makes the call. For example, In other communities you will often see things like admin favoritism and higher-ranking staff arguing about the way someone handled a report against a moderator. There's none of that B.S. here because everybody has a place, instead of just a pool of admins and moderators that can haphazardly discipline those beneath them in rank.
It's less like the Greek "separation of powers" principle, and more like Henri Fayol's principles of management. Bureaucracy in a group like this has a lot of benefits. My favorite part about the community is that most people know how to screw around and have fun while still respecting the "serious" rules and their intent.
I'd like to add some more; I like the fact the staff are diverse as it is. I've been apart of 3 communities and most of the staff were mostly white American males. It's good to see some diversity.
The community is amazing on this server and its the staff which make it very playable from a regular players view, so i thank all the staff members for working so hard to protect the server and make it a lot of fun =)
The community around here is rather solid, and the mods do their jobs. Sometimes issues arise, but generally, they're handled fairly and justly, even if sometimes I disagree with the result of a report. I came from a server where mods did little, you needed -millions- of points to do anything, and, unknowingly at the time I joined, was on the way of the dodo as it were. I have confidence this set of servers will live far longer, given how good it is, and it's lifespan is owed directly to the above points made.
I really love that everyone in this community is friendly (at least the people that actually stay) and that the mods are unlike the mods on any other ttt server I have ever seen.
