Why you should be unbanned:

I took my slay, no reason to be banned. If i was banned for trash-talking then leaving then i'll take the ban, but other than that i need a reason for my ban.​

Honestly I hit a guy with a crowbar on accident, I even stuck around for part of my slay round so I don't see why I need to be banned

 

It is stated in the MOTD or Rules:
* If you're slain for RDM, you have to stay the whole round or it's considered RDM & leave.

 

Good evening @Gnasher

You were slain for RDM because you damaged player @Alawys hungry for 20hp with a crowbar near the beginning of the round. This player promptly shot and killed you for this as damaging another player is a traitorous act. You stated in your report "and i let you kill me" which may be true as you did not damage him any further after this but also does not excuse you from the random damaged you caused to him. This player felt so negatively effected in their round they felt the need to report you even after their death later in the round. Subsequently all random damage including that caused by accident is slayable regardless if you kill yourself or allow them to kill you as restitution. As moderators we are not allowed to use discretion to slay or not and must always issue a slay for slayable offenses.

As Noctorious stated ahead of me "If you're slain for RDM, you have to stay the whole round or it's considered RDM & leave." This is an essential rule to our server and you failed to observe this rule in staying for you slay by leaving about mid way through your punishment. You also go on to admit that not only you were aware you left mid way through your slay you also admit to trash-talking and leaving on your slay round. This kind of behavior is borderline troll behavior and makes me hesitant at granting you an appeal as I feel this will not serve as a lesson to you but you are only trying to abuse the appeals procedure to further your own agenda. However the RDM committed is not that of merit to deserve a ban or of someone who is toxic to the community but your attitude eludes to it.

With this being said I will approve your appeal if you serve your full slay in game with myself but I will not void my ban from your admin stats as your attitude of "I even stuck around for part of my slay" along with your low hours and new forum account lends me to believe you may be a problem again in the future. This will not affect your gameplay in any way however if you RDM and leave another time within the next 3 months you will not face a 5 day ban but a 2 week ban instead. You seem to have little desire to defend your actions or admit that you were wrong but only to justify them under the pretense of severity. the only reason I reported you was because a detective got dna off it and killed me so I was rdmed by killing someone for a traitors act which.

 

We require players to stay the whole round of their slay because if they didn't, that would ruin the point of the slay. Players get slain for ruining someone's round, in turn they have to sit out a round. It's essentially "time out". If they leave right after receiving a slay, and not at the end of the round, they've evaded their punishment ("time out").

 

How can I see how many hours I've played on a particular server? And thanks didn't realize I had to stay for full round

 

Use the command [!stats] while in game and it will bring up your time played and on which servers. Just type this in chat and it will come up on your screen.

I have a concert to go to in Dallas tonight and I have work tomorrow so there will probably be no chance of me Being near my laptop, thus I'll just take the 5 day ban
