I hate waiting for a body to burn and not knowing how long until it has burned. So I suggest that a timer is added, maybe as an alert in the top right or like the newton launcher as a red bar.
This isnt about changing the speed of the burning. It's about being able to see how much time until the body has burned
Still, it would be a waste of time. We have the upgrade exactly for that. With no upgrade bodies take like what, 15 seconds? With full upgrades it takes like 5.
Why is the time so important is my question Unless you plan on making some kind of traitor time tactic for GMod or I am missing something I am aware that the point of this thread is about the time it takes to burn the body. But I feel a timer would be useless considering how fast the body will burn. It only takes a few seconds for a body to burn (if you have the upgrade that is). I am pretty sure you would be able to escape without being suspected. Once it is ignited, nothing can put it out. Just find an area to hide from it. Only thing players may suspect is just the burn marks leftover from the corpse. This is just my opinion though.
I don't see the utility of having a timer. What are you going to do with a timer? What practical purpose does that have? Either the bodys burning and someone sees it burning and can't ID it, or it's burnt.
It wouldn't really be worth implementing, in my opinion. Do as Python states if you really want an idea of how long it'll take for a body to burn without upgrades. This reminds me of the thread where people wanted the nades to have a "timer" for whenever they're about to explode. -1 from me. :/
