I disconnected after the map and round was over but was banned for seven days for accidental RDM instead of for a round. Not certain why - had to take care of my girlfriend when she woke up.​

I gave you 2 slays and you immediately left the servers when I gave you the slays. I find it difficult to have a reason to unban especially after you pulled off a stunt like that. Here are the conversation you put in admin chat, me slaying you, and then you immediately leaving.

I still think a seven day ban is overkill, particularly since the rules state that when the map ends, it's okay to leave. I'll go play somewhere else instead, but with some regret, as I actually like the community here.

 

It's never ok to leave during a slay unless that specific slay round is over. If you refer to the MOTD, it gives you the list of consequences that can be obtained if you failed to follow certain parts of the rules. You left before a slay round began, so that falls under RDM & Leave. Considering you were banned for a 1st offense, this is a 5 day ban. Not 7 days. You still have access to the other 4 servers (your ban is only local) while you are banned. Considering you acknowledged your circumstances, your appeal is officially locked and denied.
