Would be nice if discs were added to the list of weapons you can buy for points for a round They're pretty effective, and have many uses such as throwing people off ledges, spreading around fire from incinds, confusing people, getting away from a crowd chasing you, and whatever more. I don't know why I had to list all that but there you go. All the reasons you need to add this to the point shop You can also buy the Smoke grenade in the shop so not sure why you can't buy discombobs (maybe because they're the most common?) So yeah, that would be nice. Shouldn't seem too hard to add in and there's really no reason not to add it
The reason it's not added is to prevent players from using them to exploit areas of the map. Players will use Discombobs to launch themselves somewhere hard to get and camp there. Also, trollish children will be dicks and discombob spam is no fun.
If they exploit via any method they'll be brought anyhow. Aside from when Staff are offline, they're easy to deal with anyway. Frags + Discombobs being tossed at them usually helps an immense amount. Discombob spam doesn't have to be done by 'trollish children' as you put it, but by semi-clever traitors who like to launch people into an abyss among the maps we have here. If nade spam is what you're worried about, adding a cooldown to buying weapons via pointshop would need to occur.
