Reason For Report:

False Slay, I killed someone holding out a knife. Forcie first said I left my report blank, which I didn't. Then he said no one bought a knife so it was not true. It was a secret knife, but that is still kosable.​

No its technically not when you dont have it out and I was proven right in your eyes. I said "I HAVE THE SCREAT KNIFE! ILL GET TESTED" I was tested and when you came in you saw the green light and I walk out Without my knife and you kill me. I must hold the knife out. Either way. If i did have it out, you saw me get proven. RDM.

As you can see your report was blank.
I then waited with slaying you untill the round started so you had ample time to reply which you did.
You replied he had a knife. You never said anything about a secret knife. So after checking the logs I found that nobody bought a knife and did not remove the slay.

From all the evidence I had, it was infact RDM.

 

She was holding the knife out. I saw she had it and was holding it out, she just confirmed she had a knife, so the slay was false

Being proven does NOT make you immune from T acts, also you do NOT have to have to knife out to be killed, being in possession of a traitor weapon is KOSable.


Also is a report is ever left blank you should always PM the user and ask for a reason, alongside this Forcie you should know this map has a secret knife and make conversation with the Reporter/Reported and players whom may have been witness to this event to get accurate picture of this scene, however my judgement is that the slay is looking false. Nonetheless an admin will make a decision.

 

BuilderGaming, you have to understand that you were even saying "I have the knife, and I'm proven!"
Even if you say you're proven to players, you are still committing a traitorous act by having the knife.

 

You never asked if it was the secret knife, I just knew I saw a knife. Which in that case it is word vs word and not slayable

 

He saw me get proven and right away killed me. Is that still technically RDM since I was proven right infront of him in the Tester.

 

It's not RDM, however ever it IS loophole trolling, and the only way @Brightyler should have been slain would be under an administrators discretion.

 

Ok so not RDM but still get Admins approval. Ok.

 

As I am not aware that the map has a secret knife I browsed through the damagelogs to see if anybody bought a knife which was not the case.
Which is why I did not remove the slay.

 

Alright well, I'm going to tag forcie's admin @Taco_Rocket and see what his final input is on for this report.

Well Ill get to this. Ill go into General Tab and let everyone know about the maps that have a secret knife so this doesn't happen again.

 

It is possible that I did not hear you over voice-chat as I listen music.
However you never pmmed this, nor said this in adminchat to me. All you said was 'false slay, he had a knife' followed with the threat of reporting me on the forums if I did not remove the slay.


I also admit not knowing about the secret knife so my appologies for that. And for the next time I would emplore you to please fill in your reason so this can be prevented.

I would recommend not listening to music while staffing. It effects your ability to hear the players in-game, hindering you from harassment and spam.

 

Like i said previously; if a report is blank, communication is KEY. You should make the effort to communicate more than the players.

 

Both of the Community (bowling and pool) maps contain a secret knives.

Music plays directly after the knife is found followed by a message in the upper right hand corner of the screen, "The secret knife has been found!". Obtaining this knife is just like picking up a knife bought by a traitor, it is still traitorous and if seen with it you can be killed. If a player claims something has happened, be sure to thoroughly investigate the event; if you are unsure ask another staff member.
