Rejected Veteran title

So pls dont just-1 one this with no reason i would like all the feedback i can get on this. So im proposing a veteran title as a little perk to the players who have a lot of hours on the server. nothing much but maybe players with over 1000 hours or 1500 hours get this. i would suggest the perk maybe get one or two extra skins made only for veterans of STTT. This does not give a discount in the point shop but if you already have vip or vip+ you get these discounts. It could maybe go beside the vip titleor if your mod or admin beside that rank title. If you like to add something else to this idea please feel free to add im open to any and all modifications to this idea.

 

I like the idea of having a few unlockables for donators who have a lengthy amount of hours ingame. Or prehaps challenges to unlock items, skins, etc. The benefits are going to keep players actively engaged in the game and prevent boredom after you've essentially bought everything you physically can within the current point system. There's an interesting aspect that results when you have an item to show off that not many others have, gives you bragging rights so to speak, and that's something that many games have incorporated, so why not in seriousttt? I can see this adding further longevity to the game.

 

Then again, the people who go afk so they can get a rank.

 

I agree that players would go afk just to get cool stuff. But to be honest just for this reason I would have to -1

 

How about instead of a number of hours, a number of kills? The only way you can get kills is when you're playing and not AFKing. But it would have to be non-team kills, or in other words legit kills.

 

Instead of having hours, why don't we just do simple challenges. Maybe like a separate tab on the F3 menu saying "Check List" and it list certain challenges. And after so many completed, or certain hard challenges completed, you would simply earn a reward. Maybe add like a ???? to the prizes to keep the prizes surprising and new. But, I don't know if all of that could work...

If this does get implemented, I say we do challenges. Either single or multiple easy challenges earn you small things. And to keep it interesting, keep the harder challenges as Unknown prizes so you can't pick and choose which challenges you want to earn specific bigger prizes/awards.

The challenges that you complete should stay so you have a record, and some bragging rights about how many you've completed And how many challenges should be added...Depends on what kind of challenge style you want. Maybe small sections saying so, like kills, secret knifes found for yourself, hours played, etc.

Yes, once all challenges are complete you would get the title Veteran. And the prizes would most likely be like points, maybe special certain Player Models, Jihad Sounds, or upgrades would be added for prizes. And they would be purchasable after unlocking them through their specific challenge. So once bought, it is your choice to keep it or sell it like our Pointshop now.

 

i like the idea of adding them to the pointshop to be able to buy but what kind of perks could we give to make it fair to all players

yes i agree to the challenges section and or kills as seen in my previous posts on this i was just thinking maybe it would be good for hours but they brought up a good point about people afking to get the title

 

Perks such as the tab names "TTT" upgrades. And I said perks just as a suggestion. I currently don't have any ideas for Perks/upgrades just yet considering that most good ones are already in the Pointshop.

 

ah ok maybe we could add like the challenge system in cod like get a certain # of kills say with the huge, ak47, shotgun, hksl8 and for vanilla server we could add a thing for maybe going 10 rounds without a team kill as a hard challenge and you have to play untill you get killed by another player for it to count

 

The only way I would like to have the veteran title implemented is getting them by admins/lead admins and owner.
