Why you should be unbanned:

I had mic spammed twice (2 or more map changes ago, and not mic spammed since then).

On this round, which was 2 or more map changes after the other mic spams, I KOS'd my detective buddy multiple times which I guess was considered "mic spam", it was, I guess.

Then after being gagged for that (not sure if I was ever even untagged, or if I was banned for the first thing), I just called KOS on a guy who was shooting me a few times, then I was banned for 8 hours. The second time was not mic spam, it was me trying to get my final words out before I died (like a cry for help).

I think I should be unbanned since the original 2 mic spams were 2 or more map changes before I was banned (and hadn't mic spammed during that time in-between (that's how it works, right?)), and the last thing I did before being banned was KOS the person who was killing me (which is not mic spam...)

Although, if mic spam punishments stack even after 2 or more round changes, and I was banned for KOS'ing my detective buddy multiple times, and not the guy who was killing me, then I'll just take the 8 hour ban. Don't really know mic spam rules too well, as I never mic spam (still don't think of myself as a mic spammer).​

I did ban you for 8 hours for mic spam. You mic spammed "KOS JAKE, KOS JAKE, KOS JAKE!", so I gagged you. Then, I remembered that I had already gagged you for your second offense, thus leading to your ban. I guess I will tag my admin @ThatBox, and he can give the final verdict.

That's fine, I am just wondering if mic spam punishments stack after 2 or more rounds... And if they do, then we don't need to continue this any further. Anyways, thanks for replying so fast.

 

Yes offense do stack over many rounds, it all comes down to if the staff member remebers issuing punishments like slays and gags.

 

If this KOS during a round of gameplay and legitimate and not simply an act of spam or excessiveness with intent to spam then this appeal should be approved and voided.

Drunk was a detective and he was calling a kos on Jake, who was also a detective. After spamming "KOS JAKE", I gagged him. Then, I remembered that was Drunk's third offense of mic spamming. That is why I banned him. The second offense happened 1 or 2 maps before the map I banned him on, but I do clearly remember warning him and gagging him, for his first and second offenses.

 

So you banned him for spamming KOS JAKE, correct?

 

Yes, as it was his third offense of mic spam.

 

The verdict will of course still be decided by you @ArmordilloZero, but if the case is as you describe it I recommend denying the appeal.
