I have come to this thread due to my searches of the internet and found the phenomenon Tulpa. It is the minds creation of another conscious. I found this interesting because i want to take an endeavor into it and in the process become more self realized. I have little self realization and a lot on my mind at any moment whether it be girls or politics or something as silly as florida and their people. What i want to know is the opinions of others on tulpas and if they have any their names. Perhaps the stories of how you came to be with your fuzzy companion... I will be taking the school year to evaluate my decision on making one or not. Curiosity pushes me but i cannot let it lead me into a permanent mistake.
The main way this could work is Seeing is believing. The mind will manifest its own sub personality thus created the *Tulpa*
Google the word tulpa. You in yourself cannot be one for it is a sentient being besides yourself inside your mind. A figure of who you want a person to be.
Like the creepypasta mentioned, tulpas are based on your subconscious, which are the parts of you that remember practically everything even if you can't (like the exact pages of a book, etc.) which means, theoretically, I would never have to study for an exam with a tulpa. When said exam came, I could just conjure him up and have him tell me the answers to most of the questions!
Yo... that's some weird and messed up story, at first it was all fine and dandy then the dang plot twist came at you like a savage Lion that thinks you're challanging him. I like it.
They take time to create. Their form, personality, voice, everything. Takes time. How much? depends on the person and method
From what I have read, they are a conscious mind created by a person to be their mental companion. Holy crap.
So basically, everyone who goes on the Internet and makes a fake persona of who they really are with a fake name is using their tulpa. So right now our tulpas are conversing using our real life bodies by typing into a computer, trying to understand the other persons tupla on a personal basis. So in reality, we're a butch of insane maniacs who deserve to spend life in a mental hospital, because we're using made up people to talk with other made up people. Sounds legit!
Hahaha read the creepypasta. You will love that. And no. Tulpas aren't what everyone does. Behind the keyboard is the nature of every person. Even their tulpas are a part of their inner nature and what they want in a person or for a person to be. And its a rare thing for people to have heard this term comparative to what i seen.
