How would you feel about non-vanilla loadouts not being on Vanilla STTT?

Currently on the map rotation the only way to get non standard issue weapons (AK, AWP) is to have a VIP spawn with them. A lot of the time (mostly in the case of the AK) they outshine the standard weapons in a lot of situations. What if VIPs could only use loadouts consisting of the vanilla weapons while on the vanilla server?

 

Vanilla weapons are boring, the VIP weapons spice up the game and make it playable for players familiar to the modded servers.

 

If the VIPs do not get to use "Special" loadouts and such it would feel pointless to play vanilla lol.

 

Why would it make it pointless?

 

Vanilla with ONLY Vanilla weapons would make more sense. The AK does give a rather unfair advantage, as do the other guns that VIP's and up have advantage to whilst on Vanilla. If this were to be gotten rid of, then more people would pick up Shotty's and M16's. That's what I had initially thought when I first went into Vanilla. Almost like it's Pay-to-win in my opinion. :/

 

Sure, the ak outshines most weapons, at close range. The AWP outshines most weapons, at long ranges. Each weapon has a weakness of some kind that can be used to your advantage. See a traitor with an ak? Pick them off from a distance. See a traitor running around with an AWP? Get in close and move around. Once they miss that first shot, it leaves them open for attack while they wait to be able to take the next shot.

 

AWP = Reskinned Sniper Rifle that's loud as fuck though shadow. :/

 

Shadow you do realize that your argument can be used for literally any weapon in the game?
"See a traitor with a [fill in assault rifle/shotgun here]. Pick them off from a distance. See a traitor with a [Fill in any sniper rifle or other long range weapon] Get in close and move around."
Your argument does not prove a single thing. The fact of the matter is that the server is not "truly vanilla" with some M9K weapons in the mix, especially if they are only for VIP/VIP+ type people. Not only that, it is that the AK beats every other fully automatic vanilla weapon 100 percent of the time. Obviously, if you pin an AK against a rifle in a map like dolls the rifle is most likely going to win, but that proves 0 things and is not even the point of the thread.
